As the sitting UISD School District Board Member for District 7, it is a privilege and honor to represent our constituents.
Our community is a dynamic area with taxpayers from all walks of life. It is our duty to listen to all about their ideas and concerns plus advocate for them.
Our main aspiration is to ensure that ALL students learn and reach their fullest potential and development.
What We Have Done
Your only voice to stand for good governance and represent our students, teachers, parents and our staff at our Board Meetings –
Voted for staff and teacher raises every year – Recognizes Perfect Attendance in every school in District7 – Worked with staff to establish shuttle bus transportation for Elias Herrera Middle School –
Worked with staff to establish the Aftercare School Program at San Isidro Elementary School – Helped our retirees by making it easier to qualify for UISD retirement – Allowed school staff to work efficiently and effectively without micromanaging their duties and responsibilities.
